Flow Engineering, a startup providing AI solutions for hardware design, has successfully raised $50 million in a Series B funding round, valuing the company at $750 million. The announcement was made on Wednesday.

The round was co-led by Antonio Gracias of Valar Equity Partners, noted for its investments in Elon Musk’s ventures including SpaceX, and Gavin Baker of Atreides Management, a hedge fund that has also backed Musk’s companies and AI chip manufacturer Cerebras. Sequoia Capital, which had previously led Flow's Series A round last October, also participated, along with former Sequoia partner Roelof Botha. Botha invested personally and has joined Flow's board of directors.

Headquartered in San Francisco and operating for three years, Flow Engineering tackles the challenges of hardware design by utilizing AI agents. These agents automatically align CAD drawings with product requirements, simulation results, and various testing parameters.

Among its clients are Anduril, Rivian, Joby Aviation, General Motors PPU, the joint venture RV Tech between Rivian and Volkswagen, Stoke Space, and other prominent organizations.
