Accessibility Statement

AIChief ("the Site") is committed to making the world's largest AI tools directory usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Our goal is a browsing, searching and submission experience that is inclusive and usable regardless of ability or the technology you use to reach us.

Accessibility is treated as part of building the product, not as a separate project. New pages, components and features are expected to meet the same standard as the rest of the Site.

The Site strives to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines are built on four principles, and they shape how we design and build every page:

The Site aims to include the following accessibility features:

• Descriptive alternative text for informative images, including AI tool logos and screenshots

• A proper heading structure on every page so screen reader users can navigate by headings

• Clear and consistent navigation across the directory, categories, reviews and dashboard

• Colour choices intended to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios in both light and dark mode

• Keyboard-navigable menus, search, filters, dialogs and forms with visible focus states

• Responsive layouts that reflow for phones, tablets, desktops and high zoom levels

• Avoidance of flashing or strobing content that may cause discomfort

• Respect for the operating system's reduced-motion preference for animations

Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a finished state. AIChief is a large and frequently updated directory, and new AI tools, reviews and features are published continuously — so some content may not yet fully meet our target standard.

We review the Site periodically to identify and address accessibility issues, and we prioritise fixes that block people from completing a task, such as searching for a tool, reading a review or submitting a listing. As tools, standards and best practices evolve, we implement updates to maintain and improve accessibility.

AIChief links to and, in places, embeds content from third-party websites and services — including the AI tool websites we list, embedded videos, and payment and newsletter providers. We do not control the accessibility of that third-party content.

We encourage the providers we work with to offer accessible experiences, and we welcome reports about third-party content reached through AIChief so we can raise it with the provider or reconsider the integration.

You are welcome to use whichever assistive technology or browser settings suit you best, including screen readers, text enlargement and zoom, speech recognition software, high-contrast display settings and browser extensions.

The Site is built and tested to work with recent versions of major browsers — Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari — on desktop and mobile, in both light and dark mode.

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of AIChief. If you encounter a barrier or have difficulty accessing any part of the Site, please tell us so we can address it. It helps if you can include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you were using.

We make reasonable efforts to respond in a timely manner, and where we cannot fix an issue straight away we will try to provide the content in an accessible format or suggest a workable alternative.
