According to projections from NBC News, Democrats James Talarico and Gina Hinojosa are set to win their respective races for the Senate and governorship in the upcoming 2026 midterm elections.
Hinojosa has called for a moratorium on data center development in the state, while Talarico has favored ending tax incentives and creating an “AI dividend” to allow Americans to share in the associated profits.
