Samsung Brings AI-Powered Enhancements to Best-Selling TVs
Samsung introduces Vision AI for its premium TVs, offering real-time translations, content analysis, and personalized background images.

Originally reported bybloomberg
Samsung Electronics is integrating a new suite of artificial intelligence features into its popular TV lineup, branded as Vision AI.
The AI enhancements are designed to make Samsung’s premium TVs more interactive, offering capabilities like real-time content translation, background image generation, and even the ability to identify actors and products on-screen by searching online.
The AI also includes a built-in processor that analyzes content to enhance colors, contrast, and audio, making the viewing experience more immersive.
According to SW Yong, head of Samsung's visual display business, the company envisions its TVs as interactive partners rather than simple, passive entertainment devices.
As the world's top TV seller for nearly two decades, Samsung aims to push the boundaries of TV technology by collaborating with major tech companies, including Microsoft and Google, to expand its Vision AI suite.
This partnership will help Samsung add new features, ensuring that its AI-powered TVs continue to evolve and stay ahead of the competition.
