Pixel 10 users can now leverage the intuitive Circle to Search feature to meticulously deconstruct an outfit displayed on their screen, enabling precise searches for individual clothing items.

Google is rolling out a suite of powerful new functionalities to its Pixel smartphones through its latest March update. A significant addition is the enhanced capability of the Gemini AI assistant, which can now perform complex tasks on behalf of the user, such as ordering groceries or arranging a ride. This advanced feature, initially unveiled during Samsung’s Unpacked event last week, is currently becoming available for the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL devices.

Through Gemini’s innovative agentic feature, users can direct the assistant to execute tasks within designated applications, including popular services like Uber and Grubhub. This functionality operates seamlessly in the background while the user continues to interact with their phone, with Google emphasizing that users retain full oversight and the ability to intervene or halt any ongoing process at their discretion. Notably, this feature is also slated for release on Samsung S26 phones, preceding the much-anticipated yet delayed similar capabilities for Siri.

In conjunction with the Gemini update, Google is also introducing several new enhancements to Circle to Search, a tool that allows users to initiate a search simply by drawing a circle around an item on their screen. Now, owners across the entire Pixel 10 lineup can utilize Circle to Search not only to dissect an outfit and pinpoint specific garments but also to access an option for virtually trying on the selected look.

Furthermore, Google is refining Magic Cue, an intelligent feature designed to proactively generate context-aware suggestions across various applications such as messaging, email, weather, and phone. For instance, if a friend requests a restaurant recommendation, Magic Cue will automatically present tailored suggestions based on their known preferences. This particular feature is being deployed to the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold in specific countries and languages. These devices will also receive a new “comfort” view, engineered to “reduce visual stimulation from very bright or saturated colors.”

Older Pixel smartphone models are also set to receive a range of new features. Pixel 8 devices and newer will gain a sophisticated new desktop experience when connected to an external display, while Pixel 7 users and above can benefit from Google’s At-a-Glance widget for real-time updates on commute departures, delays, and alternative routes. Meanwhile, Pixel 6 devices and newer are being updated with support for a Now Playing app that identifies ambient music, custom AI-generated app icons, and the ability to view sports scores and stock market prices directly from the home or lock screen.
