The company paused sign-ups for the $200 ChatGPT Pro tier after high demand for GPT-6 strained its systems. Now, OpenAI's Thibault Sottiaux has announced on X that the company is modifying its usage calculation for the Pro plan. He stated, "If you do the math, it will net out at half the dollar in API spend compared to the old Pro $200 plan."
