Manus and Meta Call It Quits

Agentic AI startup Manus has announced its decision to revert to operating as an independent entity, following China's regulatory intervention to block its acquisition by Meta Platforms.

Meta had previously acquired Manus last year for an estimated $2 billion and had already begun integrating some of the startup's advanced tools into its various platforms prior to the deal's ultimate disruption.
