Visualizations obtained by Bloomberg provide an early look at iOS 27, showcasing Siri's redesigned application and chat interface. These renders, reportedly “based on information viewed by Bloomberg and people with knowledge of [Apple’s] plans,” may not perfectly reflect Apple's ultimate designs, which Bloomberg's Mark Gurman indicates will be unveiled at WWDC in June.
The leaked images illustrate a novel pill-shaped Siri chat bubble emerging from the Dynamic Island, featuring a dropdown menu that includes options such as "Ask," "Siri," and "ChatGPT." Gurman suggests that users will be able to activate this chat bubble by swiping downwards from the top-center of the screen. This functionality is expected to be universally accessible across iOS 27, mirroring the convenience Android users experience when initiating a Gemini chat by long-pressing the home button from any application.
Bloomberg's renders also depict a dedicated Siri application, whose layout is reminiscent of ChatGPT's chatbot interface. Previous conversations are reportedly organized for viewing either as a linear list or as a grid of rectangular blocks, akin to the note display in Google Keep.
Furthermore, Bloomberg provides insights into Apple’s revamped Camera app, which is rumored to incorporate a novel Siri mode and expanded customization capabilities. The visualizations reveal a new widget menu designed for managing controls within the Camera app, and notably, a "Siri" option positioned between the "Photo" and "Portrait" modes.
