SpaceX has secured another substantial compute agreement, this time with Google, ahead of its anticipated historic initial public offering. The company formally announced this development in a regulatory filing on Friday.

Under the terms of the deal, Google is set to compensate SpaceX $920 million per month, spanning from October 2026 through June 2029. This payment grants Google access to a significant compute infrastructure, comprising approximately 110,000 NVIDIA GPUs, CPUs, memory, and other related components.

This agreement bears a notable resemblance in both duration and scope to the one SpaceX unveiled with Anthropic in late May. Anthropic committed to paying SpaceX $1.25 billion per month through 2029 to lease compute resources from one of its Colossus data centers situated near Memphis, Tennessee. These facilities were originally constructed by xAI, now integrated into SpaceX, for its own artificial intelligence development efforts.

Mirroring the Anthropic deal, the agreement with Google also includes a mutual cancellation clause. Both SpaceX and Google retain the option to terminate the arrangement by providing 90 days' notice, exercisable after December 31, 2026.

SpaceX's announcement of this deal comes just one week before the company's stock is slated to commence trading on the Nasdaq exchange. Regulatory paperwork filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission indicates the company aims to raise approximately $75 billion, at an estimated valuation of $1.75 trillion, which would position it as the largest IPO in history.

Google has been a longstanding investor in SpaceX. Its existing stake in Elon Musk's company is projected to be worth in excess of $100 billion following the IPO.

This remains an evolving situation, and further updates will be provided as they become available.
