A significant update is set to delight smart home enthusiasts, particularly those utilizing Google's ecosystem. Previously, upon the launch of Gemini for Home, Google introduced a key feature, "Continued Conversation," with a notable restriction. This functionality, designed to allow users to engage in follow-up queries seamlessly, was exclusively available through Gemini Live and required a subscription to Google Home Premium, effectively placing it behind a paywall.

However, a welcome reversal of this policy is now underway. Commencing today, users participating in the Early Access program can once again leverage the "Continued Conversation" feature on their Google Home devices. This means they can ask subsequent questions of Google Assistant without needing to utter the "Hey Google" command for each interaction, and critically, without incurring any additional fees.

Adding to the positive news, this reinstated feature now boasts expanded accessibility. It will function across all supported languages and be available in all regions, ensuring a broader user base can benefit from a more fluid and natural conversational experience with their Google Assistant.
