Free users on Gemini 2.5 Pro can now access up to five prompts per day. Those subscribed to the AI Pro plan receive 100 daily prompts, while AI Ultra users can issue up to 500. The restrictions extend beyond text prompts. Free accounts are limited to generating five Deep Research reports per day, along with 100 AI-created images. For those needing more, Google offers expanded limits through paid plans. Subscribers to Pro or Ultra can generate as many as 1,000 images daily, a significant increase compared to the free tier. This update eliminates much of the uncertainty surrounding Gemini’s functionality, particularly for users who rely heavily on AI output for their work. Until now, Google had only hinted at possible restrictions, often noting that usage “may at times be capped” without providing specific figures.
