Floqer is an autonomous customer knowledge platform designed to empower business-to-business sales and marketing teams with an AI-powered database. This system continuously collects, organizes, and updates the data necessary for understanding customers.

The startup claims to have surpassed $1.2 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR), marking a roughly tenfold increase in overall revenue over the past year.

Founded by Shivam Mahajan and Zaaheda Islam, who met during university, the company currently boasts over 1,000 customers and eight employees. Notable investors include Perplexity's F7 Fund and co-founder Denis Yarats.

The founders' background includes Mahajan's tenure as a software engineer at Kyndryl and Islam's role as a senior data scientist at Axis Capital.

Floqer's journey began with a Chrome extension called "Super Chat," which allowed users to log in with their ChatGPT accounts to take notes. However, the founders pivoted to address the manual, unstructured nature of cleaning Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, which enterprise clients cited as a significant operational hurdle.

To solve the problem of manual prospecting, Floqer utilizes AI agents to conduct research across various sources, including Google, LinkedIn, and job boards. Users can simply describe their ideal prospect profile, and the system generates relevant company lists and contact information.

The platform utilizes a "waterfall" approach to verify information, cross-referencing more than 100 third-party data sources to enrich target accounts. Additionally, it continuously monitors the web to update records when prospects change jobs, receive promotions, or secure new funding.

Mahajan described the technology as a "fleet of AI agents" that alleviate the manual workload of sales teams. According to the company, customers have reported cutting prospecting time by as much as 70%.

Addressing the high demand for its services, Mahajan stated that the autonomous database is currently limited by the team's capacity. Consequently, Floqer plans to open-source the technology to better serve a wider audience and meet customer requests for on-premise data hosting.

Security reviews are currently being conducted before the public release due to the sensitive nature of the data involved. The startup has raised $2 million in pre-seed funding and counts Perplexity, Wise, and AngelList among its clients.
