The developer of AO3.life, a website constructed using a casual coding style that scraped the Archive of Our Own fanfiction archive and resold the content as AI audiobooks, reported receiving more than 2,000 takedown requests on the day the site went live.
The original AO3 platform remains partially offline following the announcement of prolonged downtime last Thursday.
