ElevenLabs Expands with Conversational AI Agent Development Tools

ElevenLabs is a startup that is working on AI voice cloning and text-to-speech. The platform is introducing a new feature that allows users to build conversational AI bots directly on its platform.  The following additional feature allows developers to create personalized virtual agents by customizing variables like tone, response creativity, and interaction length. Previously, they focused on diverse voices and text-to-speech tools.  The company noticed that some of its clients are facing challenges in integrating knowledge bases and managing customer interruptions. As a solution, they decide to streamline the entire process of creating conversational bots.  For building agents, users can select from templates or start from scratch by defining the agent’s primary language, initial message, and system prompts that shape its persona. Developers can choose between major language models like GPT, Claude, and Gemini. For more advanced outputs, they can adjust the response temperature and token limits.  Additional features include setting voice preferences, stability, latency, and authentication options, making the bots more highly customizable.  Moreover, ElevenLabs further supports developers by allowing the inclusion of custom knowledge bases that can be uploaded via files, URLs, or direct text entries. The platform also boosts the integration of external language models, making it more flexible for different applications.
