According to new data from Pew Research, the open web is increasingly filled with AI-generated text. While older English-language webpages exhibit fewer signs of artificial authorship, more than one-third of pages published after the release of ChatGPT on November 22nd, 2022, have been identified as "likely written or substantially edited by AI."
