Today, Leading Tech giant Microsoft has launched new features for its โpersonal, privateโ AI assistant, Copilot, allowing users to build autonomous agents. This update boosts customization, further cementing Microsoftโs leadership in AI innovation.
Microsoft shared that users can now create their own autonomous agents in Copilot Studio, designed to โunderstand your work and act on your behalf.โ This game-changing feature will be rolling out in public preview in November, as announced during the companyโs AI Tour in London.
These agents can range from answering simple questions to managing complex business processes. Users can easily communicate with these agents through Copilot.
Additionally, Microsoft announced 10 new agents specifically designed for its Dynamics 365 platform, helping workers in sales, service, finance, and supply chain. These agents will be available for public preview later this year and into early 2025, with more on the way!
Surely with this advancement, Microsoft is taking AI to the next level. Microsoft also announced that its Copilot Studio autonomous agents will leverage OpenAIโs new โreasoningโ model, O1, currently in preview, along with other AI models to enhance their capabilities.
