Google has officially made its most advanced AI video creator, Veo 3, available to all users via its Vertex AI platform. The launch also includes Veo 3 Fast, a version optimized for quick content creation. The tools allow users to convert text prompts into professional-grade videos, lowering the cost, time, and skill barriers associated with video production.
Since May, over 70 million videos have been created with Veo, including more than six million produced by businesses during early access in June. Companies like Canva are integrating Veo 3 directly into their platforms, giving users the ability to generate high-quality videos with intuitive editing tools while maintaining their existing workflows. Canva Co-Founder Cameron Adams emphasized that this partnership supports their mission to empower creativity globally.
Creative agencies are already seeing tangible benefits. BarkleyOKRP noted major improvements in quality, especially in lip-sync accuracy, prompting them to remake several music videos previously built with Veo 2. eToro used Veo 3 to produce 15 localized versions of an advertisement in different languages, enabling them to connect with diverse audiences while maintaining emotional impact.
Veo 3 provides advanced features, including simultaneous generation of video and audio for lifelike scenes, high-definition (1080p) quality suitable for professional campaigns, and native multilingual dialogue generation. A new feature launching in August will animate still photos into short video clips based on text prompts.
To address safety and ethical concerns, every frame of Veo 3 videos carries an invisible digital watermark from Google’s SynthID to prevent misuse, and the service is backed by Google’s AI indemnity protections.
By offering Veo 3 and Veo 3 Fast to all users, Google aims to democratize high-quality video creation, making it easier for individuals and businesses worldwide to produce compelling, localized video content at scale.
