On Monday, Apple unveiled its new AI-boosted iPhone 16 during ‘It’s Glowtime’ event, showcasing the latest in technology trends. Meanwhile, the company faces challenges from Huawei in China and regulatory hurdles in Europe.
This advanced technology-based iPhone 16 will have refined features. These features include text and image generation with prompts that are handled by Siri.
At the product launch, Chief Executive Tim Cook highlighted Apple’s in-house AI platform introduced earlier this year. He noted, ‘The next generation of iPhone has been designed with Apple Intelligence at its core.
It marks the start of an exciting new era,” he said, implying “breakthrough capabilities,” such as AI’s ability to generate images and other content on command.
Following the enthusiastic applause at Monday’s event, Tim Cook promised advancements in AI that would bring “innovations making a real difference in people’s lives.”
Advance Features with New Watches and Airpod
The new hardware features are surprising: the A18 chip, an aluminum back, and a customizable camera button on both the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, meeting everyone’s demand.
Apart from these advancements Apple also launches iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max with a faster chip A18 Pro titanium model. This model is enriched with AI capabilities that will blow your mind.
Alongside these surprising launches, Apple also revealed new Watches and AirPods, highlighting their applications in healthcare and sports. The new AirPods with standout features include a professional hearing aid, which is currently under review by U.S. regulators.
Apple has indicated that the rollout of “Apple Intelligence” in Europe may be delayed due to additional regulatory reviews required by the European Union’s Digital Services Act.
Additionally, the European Court of Justice is expected to rule on Tuesday regarding a case that could compel Apple to repay up to €13 billion ($14.35 billion) in tax benefits received from the Republic of Ireland, where its European headquarters are located.
